Counselling for Young People (13+)
What is counselling?
Counselling is talking to a trained person about how you feel. It may be that you are feeling unhappy, angry and lost, having family or relationship difficulties, problems at school or with exams, being bullied, you may be questioning your sexuality or you feel like hurting yourself and feel alone.
Counselling offers a space where you can talk openly about how you feel without being judged, you feel safe to be you and express your emotions. During our sessions we will find out what you want from counselling, feel heard and listened to, talk about what is worrying you and what you want to change. I will enable you to help yourself feel better.
The way I work with you is by talking, using a sand tray, emotion cards, drawing, painting and using clay. I will support you to find your own answers.
If you are under 16 years old, I need your parents permission for you to have counselling.
